What a deal!  Not only do you get a dated brown shingle home on the outside, but  wow you also get a white post-modern curvy condo inside. (giggle)

My initial theories on this listing:
1. Must be a Mixed Marriage: Exterior by Berkeley Hippie & Interior by SOMA Yuppie
2. The house (& probably owner) is schizophrenic
3. The person who designed the inside has something against right angles.
4. It's not just mental cognizant dissonance , it's rental cognizant dissonance
What are your theories for how this dubious design came about?

If I've said it once I've said it a million times, please match outside architecture with inside decor. (If you missed the memo, revisit my webcast here!)

WOW to spend so much money inside you think they might have done something with the outside I would never give that house a second look. you think whom ever designed the outside was dirty and whom ever designed the inside is germaphobic ha ha what a wild couple

Totally schizo. I get dizzy looking at the interior and the outside looks so drab and old. Good thing you posted your webcast, so the rest of us won't make that same mistake!

But Herman, why must the interior and exterior match? Here in 1950's tract home San Fernando Valley, home of kitschy lava rock exterior wainscotting, you wouldn't necessarily advise that the inside look like the Polynesian cultural center in Oahu, would you? Those tiki torches leave smoke on the ceiling...

@sfvRE oye, burnt ceilings are sooo not good for re-sale value! lol
well i suppose it comes down to taste. if someone wants to mix and match, it is ok but it's gotta be done with finesse! ....which everyone thinks they have, but really dont ;-)

Herman, you are so right. The San Fernando Valley has always been the anti-finesse capital of So. Cal.
