Housing & Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan finalized new law of the land which:
1. prohibits lenders from using sexual orientation or gender identity as a basis to determine a borrower's eligibility for Federal Housing Administration-insured mortgage financing
2. clarifies that "the term 'family' includes LGBT families and couples" as covered individuals & families in all HUD programs.

This is totally amazing news! Even in this day and age, there is widespread bias and discrimination against LGBTQ community. Every one deserves fair treatment, especially for something as basic as shelter! Word!
