It’s Show Time! The Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Chorus Line hit  Las Vegas! With my trademark Hermanity flair, I talked about videoblogging, real estate trends and the merits of being true to yourself in the business.

Q: What have you noticed about clients expectations/behaviors recently?
Me: Clients are nosy. They want to know everything & anything about you. Sales records aren't as important to them as  who you are. They will find that info on your facebook posts and recent twitter feeds.

Q: Can you share the secret to your success?
Me: I just let it all hang out. What you see is what you get. People are jaded & cynical now. They are starved for authenticity. They wanna work with a real person, not a veneer. Being real resonates with today's consumer

Example:  when Andrew said cold calling still works, I interjected, "That's easy for Andrew to say. He's gotta  deep Barry White voice...whereas  when I cold call, people say, 'Sorry, we're not interested MA'AM'!"
