 Today I had 2 closings and also wrote an offer. All in a day's work but I was smiling ear to ear the whole day. I realized my clients are as wacky as me. We have so much fun! Reminds of me an article I wrote for AGbeat, Hilarious Real Estate Tales You Just Can't Make up, where I recount some real life humorous stories with my clients! You've got to read it to believe it! What has been your most hilarious real estate experience? Kids never cease to amaze me! Check out this insightful little girl who rants and rails against how toy marketers are sexist! Girlfriend breaks it down better than any Media/Business/Women's Studies professor I ever had! You know, children are more sensitive to design & color than we give them credit for. For all you new parents out there, better think twice before genderizing your new baby's room with pink or blue....you'll never hear the end of it, if they are anything like Riley (you should be so lucky!) Stick with yellow.  My NYC friend Rebecca just snapped this hilarious pic for me. I just can't stop giggling!
What do you guys think of agents who do this? Egomaniacs? Or savvy marketers? Look, we realize real esate agents are stressing for business but ummmm, dang, has it really come to this? This is a true bonafide listing for sale on the MLS. Buyer: I'm calling about Carol Ave. Tell me about it Agent: It has some water intrusion. Buyer: That's OK. What about the neighborhood? Agent: It's changing. It's very fluid. Buyer: Huh? Agent: Let me put it this way. Do you like the Little Mermaid? 
Ellen cracks up the audience with these real estate ad blunders. The last one is a doozie! I'm surprised they printed the actual word. (This is day time TV, right?). It makes it all the more funny because Ellen is the most famous lesbian in the world & clearly everyone is in on the joke that she has no interest whatsoever in huge d*cks! I hope she does more of these segments! Do you have a hilarious real estate ad copy story? LMK!   I've definitely come across some distressed sellers who weren't too far from this cartoon!

And once you find laughter, no matter how painful your situation might be, you can survive it.” I concur Bill! Personally, humor, laughter, satire & glamour are my weapons of choice. And in the spirit of humor, laughter, satire & glamour, here is an fitting quote from Oscar Wilde: “It is a curious fact that people are never so trivial as when they take themselves seriously.” For all the kids (and adults) out there who get stepped on, take solace that even I, Herman, the glittering real estate personality, was a total outcast.
