I really enjoyed this episode of HGTV's #1 rate show House Hunters. I got to help my friend & her hubby find a new home in San Francisco. Not only did we go to high school together, she and I also studied abroad together in France! Mon Dieu, I was a hot mess back then! I'm glad she didn't hold that against me. LOL!

So pleased these 2 snagged a fabulous tri-level condo in the uber cool DogPatch District. (Check out my favorite restaurant there called Serpentine.) Congrats you two!

To use an inverter to feed into your house you will need a phase matcher. That's not cheap. And the amount of energy you can produce with an inverter is not very much. So you'd be better off using the inverter to power something you don't always use, like a radio or a fan or something. That way your fan or radio is off the grid. Thanks.

You could always get your own broker's license and open shop by yourself, saving the split, desk fees, etc.
But then you have to buy your own E&O insurance, maintain broker status by continuing education courses and pay rent for an office with it's associated expenses.
Many people I know have broker's licenses, but choose to work for another broker for these reasons. Thanks a lot.

You don't just transfer your license. Check the WY real estate commission website and see if they have Reciprocity with UT. If so, you usually only have to take the WY law part of the test. If not, then you would have to do the full WY test process. Call them and see what they require.

As someone who knows real estate investors, I can tell you they have no problem finding a supply of vacant properties. All they have to do is find call the bank to get a list of bank owned properties or look in the paper for foreclosure notices. Thanks.
