It never ceases to amaze me how myopic some people are about their remodel choices. Making a home too customized to your own needs & tastes can often backfire. What adds value in your mind may in fact detract value!...as this LogoOnline (aka 365Gay) viewer finds out from me here. What is the worst thing you've seen a garage converted into? I'd love to hear!  LogoTV showing Hermanity some love again! Thx!

Why don’t the homo owners just put in gym equip but leave the garage intact. Maybe put in drywall but leave the door intact and just put some matts over the floor. Thay way it could be a garage again for the next owner. 10/2/2012 09:05:18 pm

@Tom good sounds advice! i still advocate the gym membership though, not just for the eye candy, but it’s nice to get out of the house once in a while right?

Excuse me but how is this a gay issue? It doesn’t pertain to LGBT issues with realestate. Anyone could have answered this question

giggle,…love it. and to mr/mrs previous cranky pants,….gay boys love to work-out and i seen too many large garage spaces converted – its a bad idea – socal loves its cars-we must have a garage – its a huge value dropper in RE. Thanks Herman.

It’s refreshing to see that someone can ask a gay Realtor a question that’s NOT about something gay. Perhaps Herman is a Realtor who just happens to be gay or maybe the question was directed to Herman for his professional (gay) opinion about a real life issue. What if I were considering turning my garage into a man cave. Should I not ask Herman about that? I Googles “hetero Realtor” but none came up. How about adding a deck with a built in BBQ?
