CNN Money reports that living near good schools will set you back an additional $200,000. Oh, tear out the front page! Anyone with 1/2 a brain knows there's a direct correlation between high ranking schools & high priced real estate. When was the last time you saw a poor performing school surrounded by multi-million dollar mansions?! The question then becomes, is it worth it to drop $200k+ for better public school in coveted neighborhood or just live in a so-so neighborhood & use that dough for private school?
