Watch my friends Sherry Chris (BHGRE CEO) & Jennifer Marchette talk about "Home, First Home", their 1st advertorial reality show. It stars 1 of my fav guys in the world, Andrew Gaydosh (sorry ladies, he married!) The show airs nationally on the Better TV network. Good luck guys!
(I dug up an old pic of Andrew, Jen & me on stage last year at the FUSION conference!)
If Million Dollar Listing & Millionaire Matchmaker had a baby from a one night stand, Love Broker would be it! BravoTV has greenlit a new show where 2 bff's (1 real estate agent & 1 matchmaker) pimp out their male clients, both gay & str8. Well, as my Puerto Vallarta realtor friend Nicole Martin loves to joke: "Real estate is the finest form of ." Seems BravoTV agrees! Can't wait to watch!
The new star of Bravo TV's Million Dollar Listing NY is Fredrik Eklund (aka Tag Ericksson to you gay porn fans).
For many realtors, selling real estate is often a 2nd career after they get burnt out from their 1st one. I suppose Fredrik is no exception! With his salacious past, clients might wonder, "Gee, is the house or is he for sale?" But with clients like Justin Timberlake & Cameron Diaz, it clearly hasn't been a problem (then again, those 2 are straight...).
Bravo's press release makes no mention at all about his prior il-LUST-rious career, but you can count your little ding-a-ling it will come to light mid-season for some ratings drama. "Fredrik Eklund is the youngest Managing Director for Prudential Douglas Elliman. With more than 1.25 billion dollars in residential sales, he is known for being a “listings machine” ...is constantly rated as downtown’s “Top Luxury Broker” and was nominated as “Rookie of the Year” by the Real Estate Board of New York."
And to all those haters who accuse Bravo TV of pushing a homosexual agenda (Andy Cohen, Madison, Josh Flagg, Jeff Lewis, Brad Goreski, Tim Gunn and more!), well I guess you was right!!
Are you a doily diva? A macramé maven? Are you the MacGyver of arts & crafts? If so, my casting director friend needs you to apply for this show from the producers of Cupcake Wars. They're seeking
For the first time ever, House Hunters International is heading to the Arctic Circle. I can't wait to see the real estate agent chauffeur clients on a toboggan! This show is an spin-off of HGTV's #1 show House Hunters (which I've been on more than once! haha!). Now that they can cross off the North Pole, what is next? House Hunters Under the Sea? House Hunters Intergalactic? What frontier would you like to see?
I really enjoyed this episode of HGTV's #1 rate show House Hunters. I got to help my friend & her hubby find a new home in San Francisco. Not only did we go to high school together, she and I also studied abroad together in France! Mon Dieu, I was a hot mess back then! I'm glad she didn't hold that against me. LOL!
So pleased these 2 snagged a fabulous tri-level condo in the uber cool DogPatch District. (Check out my favorite restaurant there called Serpentine.) Congrats you two!
If you are looking for a home in San Francisco Bay Area and want to be on House Hunters with me, please pop me a note!
You're in for a treat! I'm pleased to bring you a chat with my friend Ross Farrell...straight from his fabulous living room. You may recognize Ross from his many TV appearances on Style Network's Area, Beautiful Homes & Great Estates, Landscaper's Challenge & Designer's Challenge on HGTV. Find out all the places that Ross has lived that inspire his home decor, whether you need to go to school to be a designer and what his next big project is!
Check out his website for his paintings, home decor portfolio and his fashion line! This man does it all (well, except for one thing. But you'll have to watch our video to find out!)
QUESTION: Can you sue a termite inspector if you later find they missed some termite damage?
ANSWER: Not if the termite inspector put you on notice your house needed further inspection.
Judge Milian of the People's Court (guilty pleasure here!) breaks it down for this home buyer who is suing his termite inspector. Basically, the inspector warned the home buyer that the house needed more evaluation and that he could not give it a pest clearance. The buyer at least was smart enough to get the home inspected, but what is the good of doing an inspection if you don't follow their advice?!
It's like if you go see a doctor & he tells you to get further tests done because you might have diabetes. You do no tests, and soon after you get diagnosed with diabetes. You ain't gonna sue the doc?! Nuh-uhhhh!
IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE: I like the plaintiff's lavender tie. But, umm, his hair. I have no words.
I met my fabulous Casting Director friend Susan when she was casting The Outdoor Room on HGTV. Her past shows include P. Diddy's Making The Band on MTV, Inked on A&E, Remixed on BET...and now she is seeking people for the show Home Made Simple on Oprah's OWN Network. Please apply & tell her Herman sent ya!
Speaking as someone who is no stranger to being on TV, when submitting yourself, be upbeat, animated and memorable. Remember it is about E.S.P (Energy Smile Personality). No one wants to watch a bump on a log, especially on the boob tube.

I am rooting for all my Hermanity fans to book this! I'll feature you on my vlog!
